BACKGROUND: His childhood was normal--for the son of a Templar--but Kyle constantly resented. He kept quiet until his teenage years, finally voicing to his father that he did not want to grow up to be a 'knight' like they were expected to. As expected, his father didn't take the news well, and Kyle did what he had to.

Running away from home to live in the darker corners of London, Kyle embraced the musical lifestyle his parents had always forbade him to. Though it had changed quite a bit over the decades, the fundamental roots of punk rock remained, and during the War in Seattle, the 'old sound' started to make its return across the seas, the people needing a voice to scream out their fears and anger against the supernatural world and the war they'd dragged them into.

With the music came booze and drugs with the added addition of magical addiction, and it wasn't long before Kyle and his bandmates found themselves as deeply thrown into the darkness as the rest of London. He embraced the dark magic, learning to control it as he let it control him. But the magic soon became too powerful for him, and Kyle realized before it was too late, forcing himself through the painful act of quitting. It was through light magic, or white magic, that he learned to balance his craving for the power.

Once he had control of himself, he sought out others like him--supernatural beings or mortals alike addicted to magic, as well as people who had been hurt by the Templars. Though he still occasionally struggles with his own addiction, it gives him a unique perspective in helping others, and he has even learned the channel his power to heal.
